Apple Macbook Power Supplies Going Solar

Well here’s one step you can take: get a solar powered charger for your notebook. QuickerTek has come out with their Apple Juicz product which will soak in the sun’s rays and convert it into power for your laptop battery. You can use the Juicz for your Apple Macbook, Macbook Pro or Macbook Air.
Going solar will not be cheap though. The solar cells are expected to cost between $500 and $1000 depending one what configuration you desire. You’ll also need a special MagSafe connector, something you’ll need to purchase from QuickerTek.
